Notice from their self-description below that the Boyd Law
School of Gambling, Casinos & ion is quite up front about
these matters: First, it says quite clearly that Boyd will provide the
Nevada business community(euphemism for Nevadas
casino/gambling/ion industry) with expertise on gambling
law. Second, notice that they are quite up front about the $5 million
dollar contribution from William S. Boyd and part of another $1 million
from the Boyd Gambling Group. In other words, their major contributor,
William S. Boyd, for whom the school is named, is part of the
gambling/casino/ion/liquor industry in Nevada.
In other words, it is quite clear that the
gambling/casino/ion/liquor industry in Nevada are setting up
this Law School for their own interests. |
| I dont know whether or not if this subject is a bit of a hoary old chestnut
for this Newsgroup,so if it is i apologise for bringing it up again, but its
my first visit to this NG and i would genuinely like to know the truth of
this.
A friend of mine recently told me that the Mormons own most of the gambling
casinos in Las vegas,or that you are making money from these places whether
directly or indirectly,this i found hard to believe because i know that your
religion is against gambling.
What is the truth about all that. |

United States government documents and investigations about any
connections these contributors to the Boyd Law School of
Gambling,Casinos, ion and Liquor might have with Organized
Crime in Nevada. |
